Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit 2018

The Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit 2018 is organized in UK on 9th and 10th October, 2018. The theme for the summit is "Equality for Mental Health in the 21st Century". The event has created a platform to bring political leaders, experts-by-experience, policy makers and civil society to share the most effective and innovative approaches to mental health and psychosocial disabilities.

This summit hosted the launch of Landmark Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and secure agreement of political declaration to drive international action on mental health. Honorable Minister of Health and Population Mr. Upendra Yadav has taken part in this summit from Nepal. Mr. Matrika Devkota, founder chairperson of KOSHISH was invited as the experts-by-experience to share his approaches on mental health and psychosocial issues and disabilities in Nepal.
