KOSHISH rescued a woman with symptoms of mental illness from the street of Shankhamul, Kathmandu on 17th December 2013. She is around 22 years old and was living under the bridge near to UN Park. According to local people, they noticed her just from ten days ago. Before, she had been living in the street of Koteshwor, Kathmandu.
Her identification is not known and her illness is yet to be diagnosed. Now she is in KOSHISH's Transit Home and under supervision for her proper treatment. Transit Home provides holistic service that includes clinical, psychotherapies, counseling and social support. This service is designed such that it gradually increases the confidence level of the clients which in turn helps to manage their mental health/psychological problems.
